Salvatore is the owner of The IV Pro. He holds an Associate Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and he is working toward his license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
His career in healthcare began as a phlebotomist. He worked his way through nursing school while on the job, with support from his hospital's tuition reimbursement program.
After becoming a nurse, Salvatore joined the trauma team, where he became known for finding veins quickly and almost never missing. Three years of placing IVs for as many as 50 patients a day gave him the steady, practiced hand patients now count on.
A fellow registered nurse noticed his skill and encouraged him to explore mobile IV therapy. After gaining experience with a mobile IV company, he started The IV Pro with his longtime friend, Dr. Smith.
Salvatore had always planned to open his own practice after becoming a nurse practitioner. Instead, the opportunity came years earlier than he expected. Today he leads a team of licensed registered nurses serving Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

From phlebotomist to founder
Phlebotomist
Drew blood at the hospital while working his way through nursing school, with help from its tuition reimbursement program.
